Not improved since last visit about 6 years ago. Anderson Trail has very poor walking access for old people. Parking at the cabin can be a challenge. Heat worked well. Fridge shelves were duct taped together. Kind of tacky.
Great place, cabins are a little close. The red house lake is in walking distance.
This is a nice area off the main road. The biggest issue is probably the space around your cabin is almost nonexistent. Everything in this are is on a hill, so there is no room for playing yard games unless you go into the gravel road. The hill to our cabin was so steep, the wet grass caused people to slip. The cabins themselves were very nice, large porch, refrigerator, stove and cots. We had 6 people and a dog in our cabin and there was plenty of space. It's very quiet at night and dark as dark can be when the windows are all shut. The only light was from the LED on the smoke detector so have a flash light by if you're going to be getting up in the middle of the night. The bathrooms are centrally located, about 700 feet from where out cabin was. There is only 1 shower for that entire area.
Clean and very well taken care of
The usual cabins, good place; though our last experience was a little buggy, if you will.
